You will have to use the bellhousing, and maybe even the flywheel and clutch.
I have read a ford bulletin that says you can't swap the flywheels between the two because of the balance, I'm assuming it is fine if you swap the balancer too, as the crank is the same. I didn't read thes bulletin for several years after I used a 6.9 flywheel on my 7.3 and have had np bad effects from it.
