NEED QUICK HELP!!!

I just changed my mechanical fuel pump and it wont start??
What could I have done wrong??

Your fuel system primed??? You getting fuel to the injectors? OR at least to the fuel filter housing. It will probablly take a while to get everything fueled back up. Fill the filter with powerservice and that should get you enough to get it fired and let everything get filled up.

CRACK OPEN THE INJECTOR LINE AND AND CRANK IT TILL IT STARTS THEN CLOSE THE LINE THATS HOW I DID MINE!!

ditto on the crack fuel lines... if you dont it will take FOREVER and a year to get it to crank.

Make sure you're getting fuel to the schrader valve on the filter, some members have reported installing the pump with the arm above the pump lobe instead of under it. There has also been cases of new pumps being bad.

Ok I got it!!

I open up one of the vavles on top of the fuel filter and injected some more diesel in it untill it ran out! Started right up!!
Thanks for the quick reply guys! I am going for a test drive wish me luck!
