57 panel vans. I have a buddy who has a friend that is restoring one. I was going to refer him here but I figured I better check and see if there are any resident experts. Thanks.

Hi ratsmoker,

I'm not an expert by any means, but I'd be more than happy to help.

My years of particular interest are the '57-'60 era.
The panel trucks of this era were part of the F-series, and shared a lot in common with the other F-series trucks. I also have the manuals, sales brochures, catalogs, etc., which should help.

Send him on over, I'm sure there are others here who can help as well, and he won't be disappointed.

I have one (1957 Ford panel delivery). That doesn't make me an expert, but I have driven and wrenched on 1957-1960 Ford trucks for 14 years.

There's another panel truck web site, but the forum isn't very active.
