Hi all I did my due diligence and posted this on the Bronco forum but they are slow to respond so hoping you all can help me out. In short have a 1979 Bronco with a 400 ci, a/c, 30 inch tires, and 4-speed. Power steering pump bracket broke on the bottom and cracked on the top and the pump is barely holding on now...what can cause this? The fluid looks good, no major leaks, etc. Here is the link to my write up on the bronco forum w/ full details, thank you: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ml#post8670593
Maybe vibration will...but it was not like I was off roading or anything like that I just went to the store and back and the loud whining of the pump...tends to lead me to suspect more than a vibration problem being the cause...but at this point your guess is as good as mine!!!
