A lot of guys with the PSD run up to 38" tires with the stock 3.73 gears. You will lose some performance and your EGTs will be a little higher.
I like to regear to try and keep close to the same effective gear ratio as stock.
If you choose to regear, I'd go with 4.30 gears for the 36" tires.
