I suspect that you may need to describe the crackling.

Did you seal the subs to the box. Air leaking will make noise. Its a easy thing to fix. Use silicone caulking under your subs or a gasket.

It doesn't have anything to do with his problem, but...

NEVER, under any circumstances, EVER use real silicone near a speaker or an enclosure. Use a latex sealant instead.

Sorry about that I used latex caulk. I use silicone so much at work I tend to say it instead of caulk.

i thought it may have been my box but i pulled the subs and checked all my joints and everywhere air could get in or out and found nothing. i can unhook my subs and the tweeters and door speakers still do it and then i can switch my amp to full range and the subs will make up for some of the lost sound quality, but my subs are only single voice coil so it dosent help much. i know its in the highs and mids just dont really know how to fix it

For giggles, you might try disconnecting the speakers one at a time, to see if there is a change. If it does, you might try swapping the speakers around and see if the noise follows the speakers or if it's independent of the speakers.
