In the 140 setting medium pedal, 2500 rpm going through gears,10 psi boost,900 egt, it pulls real nice.
When it goes into 4th and slight increase on pedal 17 psi,2600 rpm,900 egt it has a slight SPUDDER.
Feals like loss of fuel pressure?
Is this DE-FUELING?
If so, is there any issues with doing damage to anything?

My wife drives this 99% of the time 80e.
No issues.
I had a DI 140 before and other then some low speed issues it pulled really hard all the way to 3000 rpm.
CLAY DID you check into the guy in Joliet, HEAVY METAL PERFORMANCE who had the loose used parts you were looking for.
I still think its a good idea to use water/meth for injection rather then larger injectors for boost. (just kidding). Yea I'm that Guy.

Clay mentioned fuel pressure, you could do a search on a DIY fuel pressure kit, mount the gauge to your hood cowl and at WOT, you'll be able to see real FP numbers. It doesn't appear to be surge.
The engine sounds strong pulling up to that spot were it acts up. Then the tone of of engine changes (spudder) very slight but it isn't smooth.
I checked out the new fuel filter maybe a slight improvement but still slight change in tone of engine.
I pushed the skinny a little harder went up to 20 boost,2600 spudder went away.
It seems to have a spot were it acts up then beyond that spot clears up.
That spot is around 17 psi,2400 to 2500 rpm

I'll put together the fuel pressure gauge and see waht happens if that is the direction I need to go in?
