Of buying a 2002 7.3 with 230,000 miles on it without knowing any previous maintenance? Truck runs great and does not smoke at all.

 

Well i just bought a 99 f250 4x4 with 212k on it and it also runs great and doesnt smoke or anything. I think its all on how it looks, to me if it looks like it has been well taken care, meaning that the engine compartment is fairly clean (not like dealership clean) and the rest of the truck look taken care then i would feel pretty good about it. But thats just me.
