I've noticed a vibration, when coming to a stop I can feel slight vibration in brake pedal, even after I've stopped it continues, I think I can hear a different sound coming from engine also, don't notice vibration during normal driving.
125,00 Miles, u-joints don't seem sloppy although I'm not an expert, probably time for a brake job
After posting this morning and due to the enormous response:
I opened hood and low and behold I found a bad serpentine belt, belt was a Gatorback from AutoZone- 30.00, it was separting and I'm not sure why
replaced alternator, belt and idler pully 12/29/09, so everything was pretty new, ran hands over pulleys and no apparent nicks or anything to cause seperation of belt.
I find myself doing that a lot lately.(talking to myself) Several schools of thought out there. I have a similar vibration and traced it to my carrier bearing. Or so I thought. Two of my three u-joints were bad . There was no movement to speak of when the drive shaft was in place. After it was on the bench I could tell I had to replace them. Good luck and go Wings!
