Ok, I ordered my F6 through Clay last week and I received it in the mail yesterday. I have been taking my time installing it this morning, and have run into an issue. I have had it in and out of the truck at least 4 times so far all with the same result. The tune # lights up and appears to work. I can even drop it to no start and then back to the other tunes. The problem is that the PCM doesn't appear to function while connected to the chip. No WTS light and my DashDaq doesn't read any info from the ODBII port. If I remove the chip everything works fine again. Any thoughts? I have a PM into Jodi but with the wealth of info here perhaps you guys and girls can beat him to the punch.
My wife just left for an appt and my eldest is almost done napping. Once she gets up and settles in front of the television I'll try calling you. Also, I tried a couple of minutes ago and got some recording about your main # not being in service. Hope its just me.

PM what number you are calling. I am still receiving calls so not sure what happened.
Not sure if the F6 is the same setup as the older one, but I had the same problem, here it was the wire that came up to the switch controller, I kept plugging it into the controller upside down. Check that First....Clay knows all about it....
The wire only fits one way on both sides. It could definately be forced to go the wrong way but it seems rather obvious that it doesn't want to fit together the wrong way. I just think its odd that it seems to be getting power but the PCM no worky. All the issues I read about are the tuner just doesn't work, no lights, no nothing. This seems wierd to me.
Edit: this was apparently my 1000th post. yeah for me
They certainly appear to be clean enough. Just some copper starting to show through like the instructions show. I'll try to take a pic as I have to remove the chip again so the truck will move.
I certainly hope this isn't the case, but you may have cleaned the contacts too far down. There really shouldn't be any copper showing. These chips tend to be a loose fit on superduty pcms as it is, and it is not very difficult to take too much off of the contacts. Im sure Clay can help you out, I'll be hoping for the best for you.
