V10 Spark plug Touque

I know this has been addressed many times. But what is the consensus on the torque value for the spark plugs? The factory number of 14ft lbs, or the "Blown Spark Plug" guys number of 28ft lbs?. I'm about to do them again because I purchased 10 new COP's and am going to install new plugs too. The first time I replaced them 25k ago I used 14ft lbs and have had no issues. I also used some anti seize which I hear actually increased that number a bit. I am inclined to do the same thing as they are fine now.

Yeah torque values are all over the place. I went with
150in lbs{12.5ft. lbs}, easy to remember on my inch pound torque wrench. That put me right in between the 11-14ft. lbs I have seen. I used anti-seize as well.

Thanks for that. I'm going to go with 14ft. lbs. myself too; that is if I still decide to change them. I started off just wanting to do the coils as I changed the plugs 25k ago and they've been fine. It's just that with swapping out the COP's I'm half way there.

I would probably just check the torque on them. They should be good for 100k and you only have a 1/4 of that on them. Should be good for a few years yet.

Yes, this is what I have decided to do. Swapping out the COP's is an easy task. Changing the spark plugs is a project that doesn't need to be done now.
