Tire Rubbing
Facts 87 F150 351 4x2 with 265/60/15 on M/T 15x10 front and 31/12.5/15 on M/T 15x10 rear

The problem
The front right tire rubs in dips at speeds of 45mph or more, only when I have a passenger, never when alone, and the left side never rubs.

What should I look at?

A Taller Truck!

I drove a Celica with oversized tires that would do the same thing when I had a passenger in it. Can you see what the tire is rubbing on?

I think it is rubbing the finder. I have the truck for a year and not replaced the shocks, I will look at them and ask the P.O. tomorrow

Those front tires are over an inch shorter than stock, but they are 30mm wider than stock. Still, not even 10.5 wide though. So your truck should have no problem clearing though. does anything seem to rub when you corner?

I live on a long hilly curvy hwy. It only seams to do it on dips but the dips are coroners to.

its rubbing on the bumper.you can get a shim the bumper out a half inch then it wont rub.or you can cut the underside corners of the bumper ,if you do it right no one will know.

I'm pretty sure its hitting the finder it has caused the metal finder to cut the plastic inner finder and the alu trim.
