Metallic Paint

I am going to use a Metallic paint on my 58 project truck. This is my first time for shooting metallic.
Question is; after mixing paint and pouring into paint cup using a strainer will I lose any of the metallic or is it fine enough to go thru the strainer.
Thanks
Vern

Vern, I don't know. Hopefully someone can tell you if you need to filter metallic paint?

Thanks Bill, Hopefully I'll be able to post pics in about 3-4 months when its done.

Ben, I bought a single stage Acrylic Urethane from Summit Racing. I think it will relatively easy. I saw an article about it in Popular Hot Roding this month. They have like 20 different colors.
