I don't understand how we are "required" to remove our DP (or other) tuners? Hell I'm running single shots, so I need my tuner! I do have a smog tune to run, so the hell with it- I'll drive up in mod stock, switch to smog, then drive away in 140 extreme! I hate this gay azz state. It's the worst state for business, taxes, and reasonable people. Once they get rid of Ahnold, Boxer, and friggin Fienstien this state might actually see some forward progress. Oh, almost forgot CARB- that building needs a bomb dropped on it!!

 

My truck came from texas, I just registered it for 2011 cause it was in Feb... but do you think cause it is from out of state that will give me problems? I don't see any cat on it all it has is a muffler. It has a K&N looking air filter on it too, doesn't look stock.

Not to get too far off topic, but it's funny how the students up at UC Bizerkley are crying about the rate hike. BOO HOO! I got pulled over the other day for "smoke" i have 250 cc single shot injectors and BB turbo and the DP. I was on the 140E setting when he pulled me over and then I switched to Jody's Cali setting and had to do a snap test but I passed with flying colors. I cant wait to transfer out of this HELL hole. I HATE the was ***** is done here.

 

What is Jody's Cali setting?

 

Its tuned below stock its gutless!!! But there is no smoke at all. Like I mashed it and with in like 200 ft I was up to about 35mph!!! only good for testing bad to drive in.

 

Thanks. I got a stock setting with my tuner. I dont have any major mods other than intake, 6637, and 4in exhaust.

 

Not a problem. It has saved me a couple times well worth the extra money. Just tell jody you need the cali tune. He knows what you are talking about.

 

I think I will just stay with what I have now. I already went 4 months without my tuner and just got it back, don't want to go through that again.
