Well, here's the story. I just found out I'm deploying and I'm PCSing 3 months after I get back. I thought I had all summer to get the truck ready to travel but I only have a little over a month. The truck has a 302/C4 and a Dana 60 with 3.73 gears. I am about to order parts to rebuild the steering and suspension and I need to figure out how to get a parking brake in there too. Could I use cables from a later model truck?
I have also seen a thread about upgrading the brake mastercylinder. Does anyone know what mastercylinder was used or where the thread on that is?
Any help would be very much appriciated.
BTW - My truck is a 1952 F3.

Reason: left out truck info
For the parking brake cable, since it is a Dana 60, you could use one from a Ford F250 from about 1957 to 1979. 57 through 60 were a one piece cable (each end went to a brake, middle to equalizer), and later ones used a separate cable from the equalizer to each brake. If you know what the rear came out of, I would start with the cable for that and go from there.

I found the one piece cable you were talking about. Thanks a lot. I had looked around but only saw the two cables comming from the axle. That helps a lot.
After a little thinking, I've been throwing around the idea of putting the mustang power brake setup on my truck. Would there be any problems with a power setup if I'm still running the stock drum brakes?
