4X4 Front Hub?
Changed out front rotors last night so I thought since winter is over I would cycle the front hubs from AUTO to MAN and back. No go. I tried real hard with my fingers and did not move. 4X4 worked fine this winter in AUTO mode. Looking at the hub, I would guess they are frozen, probably corroded.
So what can I expect when I remove the retainer ring?

Remove the retainer ring and pull the hub out. It will come out in one piece. You can then take it apart and clean/lube it. As long as your 4x4 is working in the Auto mode they are probably fine, just need to be lubed up to loosen the dial.
