Do It! Do it! Do it till your satisfied!!

So with this title, I wanted to start a Most recomended mod thread. As we know, the Super Duty Platform has been deminsionally unchanged from 1999-2010. That means we can take advantage of new engineering from Ford without spending 40-50k on a new truck. I have made quite a few changes on my 99 that I willl share in more details in following threads, but here Lets here what you have done to make your truck better using newer parts!!!
Here is my List:

05 Headlights- Looks Great, and massively better viewing at night
05 Grilll- Matches headlights and I like the more squared look
07 Front diff and suspension- where do I start. Better ride, better turning radius
08 Mirrors- Much better visibility.
Napa High Torque high amp starter

Mine's still all stock 2000 model year, but I could go for the newer tailgate and tow mirrirs when I get some scatch, or find a good donor?!

Really?? I would have thought someone would be interested in the Front end at least?? It is the full meal deal, 2007 front differential and all new suspension components. And it may be the best thing I have ever done to my truck.
I am about to take off for a week for Spring Break, and still have to finish up posting pics and vids of the new engine, if I can ever get it to run right.

So come on, there have to be others who have updated/upgraded various parts of their ride?!

Here is a quick teaser of the front end-

6.0 right??

FN74, any issues with wheel backspacing using the 07 front and 99 rear axles?

Biggest SOTP bag for my buck, other then a DP Tuner, was going from an early 99 intake to a 99.5+ intake, and TN BB turbo.
Hence the "Not So Early 99" in my Sig. The bellowed uppies were a good mod as well and came with all the stuff I got for
the intake upgrade. Got lucky and bought it all from one person for what and early 99 Beans D66 would have cost.
The Adrenaline HPOP was a major improvement to be sure. Enhanced the high end power quite a bit.

For looks a 2005 grill, 2002 head lights and clear parking/turn/side marker lenses, 2008 tail lights and 2004 body side mouldings
that matched the lower silver color of the oxford white/silver two tone paint. 2008 rear diff cover because it was time to change
diff fluid and I said "What the heck".

This is just a short list of my mods. Damn PMS.

I know others are looking for answers for the 07 front axle swap. So I will give this thread a bump.

FN74 my remark was purely sarcastic. I would love to see the process you went through to swap the front end but I know this is something I will never be able to afford.

No worries at all! I caught your humor and chuckled, because that was the exact reason I did this to begin with. Just time is severly limited for me, so I can't respond as quickly as I would like to. Just got back from our annual Family Spring Break Camping Trip, and even then I had to go into town for 1 day for business stuff. .

My intention is to cover the whole Front end conversion in detail as a part of my "Do It Now" Series sharing my personal positive modifications and experiances. Just like the high amp NAPA starter was the best starter mod I have ever done for any of my vehicles. So be patient with me, and in the coming weeks I will write an in depth post about the conversion process, costs, part numbers, etc.
