Silicone 45 intake replacement boot

Silicone 45 Degree Reducing Elbow 3-3/8" to 3"

Anyone else need to replace the orange boot on their truck?
Mines about toast, but the standard company is out of stock and back ordered.

Clay says that if we have enough people, he'll have them made up for us.

Anyone else need to replace theirs? He claims he can get them made and sold a bit cheaper than the other site as well.

Yea, at 60 each, they are expensive.

I think clay can probably get them to us for less shipped.

With better material as well.

I replaced mine with a black one from a Superduty. I got it from Neal on this board because his price, with shipping, was cheaper than from my local dealer. I think it was somewhere around $40/$45 IIRC. There is a tiny hole in it for a vac gauge line but it's easily plugged with a small screw or silicone.

This is it. Oh and the intake end is 4" so you might have to have the 6637, or at least a 4" pipe coming from the air filter to use it.

Agreed it is expensive. But at the time, I needed it. And that one is actually pretty good material. It's way better than the stock piece.

IIRC, Fords replacement for this part was way more expensive than any of these other silicone replacements.

Well, thats 3 of us.

I think we'll need at least 10 for Clay to cooperate.

Nice job with the SD stuff. That looks good.

Haha that pic of it on the radio is mine - before I installed it. That little nipple on the upper right is where the hole is you have to plug.
