New flash?

So, being at 15,000 miles and needing to get the fuel filters done I decided to take my truck into my local Dealer who I trust with my truck and let them have the fuel filter fun. I was surprised to learn I was not up-to date with the current flash out. It was in 6 months ago and was re-flashed at that time. Since I brought this truck home I have had the lag issue at take off, was very pronounced initally and got some what better with the new flash but still present. Got it back today and I really noticed a difference, not totally gone but much better. Also shifting has improved. Didnt know if this would be helpful to any of you experiencing lag issues.

Also curious from some of you- I had oil/filter changed, fuel filters, air filter, tires rotated, and I walked out of there for 299.00. I thought that was a pretty good deal, wondering what others have paid for same service. They also rolled it out and had been washed..gotta like that.

I am still running the flash that indicated cleaning exhaust filter all the time till complete. Just dropped mine off for an overnite visit for service.

I specifically told them not to flash mine!

That is the flash I had prior to this. Guess I will keep my fingers crossed that this one holds up and I dont have other issues arise. Im stuck at work otherwise I would post the reflash version, I will do it when I finally get home.

$300 is cheap for LOF/ROT/and FF.

I know guys that will SPECIFICALLY flash a truck, if asked not to.

Most techs (including myself) don't run around flashing trucks just because it's fun. Especially with the risk of TCM damage on the 08's.

Reflashes are only performed when instructed by bulletins, recalls, technical service engineers, or when directed by any other customer satisfaction programs.

Exactly, I told them that during the last storm my ABS light had come on twice. Told them I thought that it was just because of 5' of snow being pushed around, but take a look. ABS light has not come on since. That is when I told them I am happy with the current flash.
