Upgraded headlights
The difference was like night and day.
First I used a very fine wet sanding paper and the cracked yellowish rough surface of the plastic headlamps became clear and white again. Then I waxed them with normal gloss and high gloss finish to keep them bright and nice looking.
Then I changed the light bulbs to cool blue 55/65 Watts.
The next step I did was to purchase a headlight harness kit, to bring more power directly to the lightbulbs.
This kit was complete with wiring and relays, and took 15 minutes to install. Removing the batteries to gain access was the time consuming part.
I also wet sanded the rear lamps, and they look brand new as well.
