no, im gonna keep it true to its year. it DOES have the round headlights though. im thinkin a two inch suspension lift, not just blocks, actual performance suspension, a two inch body lower, with a one inch side trim and chopin the cab an inch and a half. runnin 35s or 36s, limited slip front and rear, the stacked 400 with a performance C6 with A40D internals (just to put power to the ground better). a center console so the shifters are close at hand, with two racin buckets. autometer gauges to monitor EVERYTHING: speed, rpm, oil pressure, oil temp, water pressure, water temp, tranny temp, fuel, fuel pressure (it will be EFI), vacuum (or if i put a charger on it, vac/boost). also, all accessories will be controlled via toggle switches, and the starter will be a button.

 

Well yeah it's a Custom.
'78 Customs had round headlights, While '78 Ranger, Ranger XLT, Explorers got rectangular.
'79s had rectangular all the way.
