Looks good dude, I want to do one stack on the passenger side and route it so I can still close the gate with plywood. Thats for the future though, gotta build me a headache rack first.
I pull a gooseneck trailer a lot so i loose out on headache racks, definitly would not mind a push pumper or something on the front end of my 84 though.
I am contemplating a single stack in my bed.I want it to be a 8in or nothing smaller than 6in diameter 36in tall just over toward passenger side far enough i can see out window.I am gunna tub out the tool box so that it fits up tight to the stack. What you guys think of a single good or bad im lookin for deep rumble exaust loudness.Cab noise dont bother me either mbrp system no muffler is what it will be what you think opinions sorry for the thread jack just saw post and wanted some opinions. By the way those duals are real nice like how they give your truck a semi look to it
you need twin stacks. it looks so much better than one... thats what i am doing with mine. what motor do you have? powerstroke or idi? oh and im not painting my truck like yours.... to pricey gotta go solid color lol
I had stacks on my truck...twice (on, off for awhile, back on for awhile, then off again). Just never warmed up to them as much as I thought I would...they just never sound right on an IDI anyway and my GF hated them. Last time I took them off I just sold em so I wouldn't be tempted to put them back on again.
Here is the best outside the box stack job I have seen.
Can't believe I missed that post, those look pretty darn good. That's what mine may look like when I get around to building them, only of course they'll be black in color cause maintenance on black stacks is much easier than polishing chrome
