Driver's side is 2" lower!!??

'01 F350 8' bed w/crew. Big truck. I've always noticed that the driver's side sags a little more than the passenger side.
I especially notice it with the 1200 pound truck camper in it. 2" lower than the passenger side.
What can this be caused by? What do I look for / or fix?

I would guess its the way your water/propane/batteries are loaded in the camper, takea look and see if all the heavy stuff is on one side to start.

I would start with Bill's suggestion of a bad leaf, then if everything looks good there, I would check the mounts themselves, you could have a broken one, but my bet is the leaf is broken.

Actually its because of the wieght distribution of the truck components. Everybodys does it, go out and measure from the ground to the fender lip on both sides and you will find at least an inch difference

Drivers side has a 39 gal fuel tank, steering column, and brake master cylinder. There was a TSB issued back in 2000 for this issue. If you were still under warranty and complained about sagging FOMOCO replaced your front springs . It did not alleviate the issue, because in short order the new front springs would sag too.

???

I was only a 1/4" different when I first bought my truck, and I believe the passenger side was lower???

Although what you say makes a LOT of sense.

It has always done it. With or with a load in the bed.
