I'm getting ready to install an exhaust/intake manifold I got from the junkyard on my '86 I6. I've got the old one off and the new one apart and in the process of cleaning it up. Any advice or help youall can give? Any and all help would be greatly appreicated....thanks smitty

Paint the exman inside & out with super hi temp aluminized spray paint, and use anti-sieze lubricant on ALL the fasteners. Make sure all the mounting bolts are torqued properly and that both manifolds are sitting flat and sealing right. Also, make sure you torque the 2 carb nuts properly, or it'll rock and create a vacuum leak on its gasket.
