What will fit?
Ok, i am looking at a 87 F350 that has a C6 and 6.9 IDI.
I am planning to build the truck to be as custom as can be, and I wanna go diesel for the fuel milage, pulling power, and low end torque.
What is the biggest engine that can fit into this truck without having to do a lot of modifacations to the frame? Also, i wanna keep the 4x4, but am retrofitting it to 2.5 (maybe 5) ton rockwells and a strait 10 trans.
The donar trucks that i have looked at have had 5.9 Cummins, 8.2, and a cat C15. Will all or any of these fit?
