2003 Expy Reverse Down Mirrors

Well I took my Expy to the dealership today for a problem with the reverse down feature on the side view mirrors. They occasionally continue to ratchet down even when the vehicle is put into forward gear. The dealership recieved a notice that there is a software problem and that a TSB should be issued in the near future. There should be a fix coming down the road for a new module that controls the mirrors. In the interim, they recommend either turning off the feature or trying to adjust them slightly higher during normal use, precluding them from having to go further down when in reverse. I believe the drivers mirror goes down 3 degrees and the passenger one 6 degrees.

Thanks for the info.

I'm having the same problem too.

meridian1 (and/or others) has already discussed the module problem and non-existant solution before.

Somebody please post once Ford resolves this problem.
