Okay, so this is another post on the same subject as my first. BUT... I have a question there that seems to be getting over looked, so I apologize. When I crank the engine over, the tach does not move, not even a little. Oil pressure goes up and CEL light turns off, but no tach. The truck is obviously not starting and my initial thoughts are the Crank sensor, but all I have read say that this is not the place to start. Can the FICM cause the tach not to move?
Thanks Cheezit, I tried my wifes F-150 and her tach just begins to move right before starting. Mine doesn't even budge. Any thoughts on wher I might begin? The first post describes the situation. Thanks for looking at this for me.
