Hey guys I have a 05 f150 with a 4.6L , 3.55 axle rating. Would towing a 26' travel trailor from tyler tx. to Taladaga and back one time be totaly insane, or if you were careful and in no rush would it be possible?

The max rating for towing is 6600# for a 4X2 regular cab with a 8' bed.

With my 04 F150 Extended Cab 4X4 5.4 I tow my car on the trailer approx weight is 5,500 to 5,800 pounds ( never weighed the trailer 16 foot diamond plate, car is 3,900 lbs ) without any issues locally and from Chicago to Norwalk several times without any issues.

Thanks shorebird, my manual says 4x2 whith 5' bed is rated for 6300#, this is a crew cab
