97 explorer parts help!!!
I ditched my wife's 97 explorer last night went throug a fence and broke the plastic piece under the door (no molded steps) to the rear of the truck where on the Inet do I find this piece and what is it called it streches fron the front fendere to the back wheel it is a 97 xlt control track 4 door 4x4 ford wants $150 for it the local junk yards want $25 but don't have any helppppppppppppp

Are you talking about the ground effects? Sounds to me like your local salvage yard may be the way to go for only $25. JC Whitney sells any replacement body part that I've ever seen. www.jcwhitney.com Good luck.
