Question New Michelin's. Any opinions or experiences??

I just bought a set of Michelin Cross Terrain SUV (H speed rated) tires for my 99 Expy. Has anyone had any experience with these? Everyhting I've read says these are the great tires for the money, but I'd like to hear from other Ford folks on the issue.

I have the 265/70/17 H rated tires.

Thanks for any input!!!

BTW... If anyone is shopping for tires, Costco is running a $60 off coupon on Michelin's this week for their members. I simply took this with me to the local tire store and they beat the price minus coupn for a great deal!!! I got mine for under $600 out the door with all the tire store bells and whistles.

The 1999 Toyota Tacoma that I traded in in Dec '02 for a '01 Expedition, was running 30/9.5-15 Mich LTX M/S. They were great. Wore evenly, no excessive wear, and they rode well. I would have know problems w/buying Michelins again.

I've had both LTX M/S and Cross Terrains on my 1999 - no complaints if you understand they are essentially all-season tires and not a true all-terrain tire.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, I didn't expect all terrain out of these. This vehicle sees mostly pavement year round with a lot of camper towing in the summer.

From the first week of driving on them, I do like these tires. They beat the heck out of the OEM Goodyears I just replaced.

I've also put Michelin LTX M/Ss on my 2WD Ranger, and I think they are a great road tire!!! I never go off-road,
so I can't say how they would be...
