I went to start my truck this morning and it will not start it cranks over like a son of a gun and i am getting some smoke out of the exhaust but the truck just won't pop off i changed the cps, checked to make sure there was fuel in the bowl there was, checked hpop reservoir that was full, the truck is a 95 f-250 that has all original parts except the usual mods such as the exhaust, intake, chip which i put back in to stock this morning hoping that was the problem and was not. I also checked all of the major electrical connections to see if there was any problems there and i didn't see any problems. I did play in the mud a little the night before but didn't get to crazy because i had a toolbox and dorm room full of stuff in the back and she was running just fine when i shut her off.
Sorry about the length of the description but just trying to get all the information out there.

Open the hood and get to the gpr. Check the large post at 7 o-clock to ground it should have good voltage. Check the other large post it should have zero.
The turn the key to on; do not start it and check the other large post it should now have voltage.
Try plugging the cranck case heater in to night and see how she does in the morning. Fuse 22 is under the hood.
I will go try that luckily i have my whole tool box in the back right now which is enough tools to work on john deere equipment so it should be enough to work on a 7.3 been having terrible luck the last two weeks manly vechile problems such as getting a parking ticket kind of hard to find a place to park the big girl, i also managed to destroy a front end of a new impala but didn't hurt my truck due to my home made bumper and also no one was hurt, at least she got me the 530 miles home alright

Checked the fuse on gpr and that was good going to try to jump the posts when i get some more help see if that changes anything, have it plugged in now to see if that will help. Kinda of thinking i got a blown head gasket because i am loosing a very small amount of coolant and the oil is a bit snooty looking could a small amount of coolant not cause the injectors to fire properly.

Darn thats not good. Normally if you got coolant in the oil either you have injector issues or your oil cooler is the problem. What is you oil level? I would change the oil out, you may have oil in the radiator as well. If you IPR is stuck open then there is less oil pressure to the fuel rails. Did you plug it in over night?
Oil level is a bit higher than add mark, it was full about thousand miles ago when it was changed last. I did plug it in last night , I will go see if it starts in a little bit, the truck has been running strong but seems to idle rough after driving for a while but idles nice when its still cold

Truck started right up this morning after being plugged in so it looking like i am going to need new glow plugs or a relay. Thank you for all of the suggestions would have never thought to have plugged it in, was thinking 40 degrees would have been warm enough for her start up but apparently not with the glow plugs not working

I would drain some oil out and add a can of seafoam to it and then run it for a few miles then not burning yoursalf drain a little radiator fluid from the petcock valve into a glass and let it stand and then change the oil and filter.
Then later check the glass for oil floating on top of the fluid.
