'05 Wheel Sizes Question

From what I know the base model of and 05 f350 came with 17" steels, I have a lariat with 18s, will most 17" wheels with same bolt pattern fit or do they hit the brakes? The price difference in canada for rubber from 18 to 17 is huge! Any input would be great.

Ford offered 17" wheels in both steel and aluminum in the 2005 Super Duties. You should be fine running 17" wheels as long as the back spacing is appropriate. See Page# 28 of the link below for details.
