Howdy Bob, I dont think Rickys crew chief was too happy with him after the race......

 

He didn't want to slow down, He wanted to race.

I think his, Crewchief and crew feels bad About him moving up to Cup Series and all of them staying in the Nationwide Series with Trevor Bain next year.

 

Thats true but Trevor can get it done too...........I think he will be a good fit there

I want to know what transmission my son's truck has in it. Can I tell this from the VIN number? If so what part of the VIN number?

It is original. I need to know what transmission it is so we can price one. The tools I found only say it is a 5sp manual, which I already know.

Go to Autozone on line and you should be able to get into the guides that shows where to look for your vehicle
I had a link here but it worked for me because I am a memeber.

If you post me the info I will look it up in another app I have.
The best bet is to get the info off the drivers side of the transmission.

I think the guide will work for you. Let me know if it doesnt
