Slave cylinder question.

Okay, so I've been trying to bleed my clutch for a while. But the darn thing just won't do it. So, I think I might have been sold a bum slave cylinder. So, how can I tell if it's the slave cylinder without tearing the transmission out again. Oh, its the Mazda transmission if you need to know that.

Generally when the slave cylinder is bad, all the fluid will go out of the master cylinder through the slave cylinder. Have you tried gravity bleeding it?

You are removing the rubber cup(diaphram) that sits under the master cyllinder cap before adding brake fluid to the clutch master cylinder? Just a thought.

Actually, that does help. Because he said to NOT pump it and thats what I've been doing. And yes, I've tried gravity bleeding it, but the way its sitting it's either taking longer or not letting it do it right. And yes, I removed the cup. XP
