axle code

ok guys i finally remembered to remember to get the axle code off my 250, according to the door jamb i have a axle 29, from what i found its a 3.55. ok there are a few questions, 1. what size is it (i.e. 10.25, 9.75?) and 2. where would you guys recommend to look about new gear sets, im not sure if i really want to stick with 3.55s, i was thinking more like 4.10s, how good are the 3.55s with 33's on it, im figuring not much difference from stock i would guess

It's a 10.25 axle. If you have an OD trans then 4.10's are a good choice, otherwise you amy want to stick with 3.55.

it is an od trans, E4OD to be exact, is there any company you would recommend for new gear setups without costing an arm and a leg ( figuring i have to do 2 sets not just 1) ?

Yes you are going to have to do both front and rear. Some guys have had good luck with buying off ebay.com but I would think I would have a look at drivetrainspecialists.com for prices and quality.
