new injector o rings.....big problems
hello.. 1995 f250 4x4 5 speed 260 k on clock. all stock other than 6637 filter. was useing lots of oil gallon a week and filter bowl was black with oil. changed o rings drivers side went perfect. pass side fought me. front 3 were ok the back one wouldnt come out when it finally did the injector cup was still on injector. i was in a bind and needed truck so i changed the o rings i could on that injector all except the botton one. put some lok tite on cup then re installed injector with cup still on injector. got it all buttoned up have driven 100 plus miles. runs ok but not as good as b4. no noticable oil usage or fuel or oil in the antifreeze. only problem it will not start hot. it it sits all night it starts in am good. if its hot i hav to pull start it or spray some either at it wile cranking it and that will raise the rpms enough to start it. im getting no smoke while cranking. im guessn a high pressure oil problem. fuel filter new. oil good. i hav a ck engine lt on now too. but it has the eec conector not obd 2 so i cant ck the codes. and help greatly aprerciated
