ZF 4speed ratio can it be adjusted

ZF 4speed ratio can it be adjusted

All the 4spds except one light duty one that ford used in a few pickups were 1 to 1 high gear ratio.

If you are only interested in a higher cruising speed, swapping your rear end gears is the cheapest route, depending on what you have.
There are other options, some has converted to the nv4500 5 speed so it is possible.
Others, myself included have used a gearvendors overdrive unit, they are great but a new one is spendy.
