Doug, what year is your truck? Anything before '94 is an IDI, in '94 you could have either the IDI or the PSD, and from '95-up it's all PSD. The easiest way to distinguish them is the IDI will have this fat cylindrical-shaped injection pump on top of the engine in the front middle and there will be eight 1/4" steel lines coming out of its rear cone and going to the injectors on top of the heads, it kinda looks like a big alien spider creature - the PSD has no steel lines like that, and the injectors are hidden under the valve covers so you can't even see them.
