Help dealer problem

I'm in the process of buyng a 2001 Supercrew Lariat 4x2. I expressed to the dealer that the truck looks low, like it was lowered. He stated that it was checked and it wasn't. To make a long story short, after we agreed on the purchase I asked to have it in writing that the suspension meets Fords Specs as stock equipment. Well, wouldn't you know it. A further inspection verified it was lowered, and only the frontsprings were changed, not the rear. They ageed to replace the springs back to factory specs. How would I tell if the rear end was not lowered? What would that entail? Shoulc I make sure they align the front end, etc.? The dealer is a Lincoln/Mercury dealer, not some street side used car dealer. The truck is real nice, 35k miles, 5.4 all options, $18500. Any comments/advice would be appreciated.
