charging issue help
my 94 f250 is acting up on me my batt light was on and gauge was reading low so i had the alt rebuilt i cleaned all connections and put fresh rebuilt alt in and still same issue batteries are good whats the next step only thing i can find is the single wire on the alt between main battery connection and larger plug is a lil loose

I am unclear as to whether you have taken any voltage readings. Check all connections closely. Lots of alternators get changed when the problem is a ground or cable. What voltage are you getting at the batteries with the engine running?
