im plannning on puting a 4-link suspension on my truck but when i contacted heidts the tech said that it wouldnt work becase they are designed for the f100 wich they told me has narrower frame rails than my 250 is there a place ican buy a 4-link for a f250 or can i modify one for the f100

I thought the frame width was the same on the f-100 and f-250,but what do I know..?
1956 f-250?

Crawl under that beast with a tape measure and measure it, the f-1oo is 34" from outside to outside.Do you plan on dropping the frame??
Are you going to swap axles? This is where most 4-links may require modification.

i thought they were too but they guy at hiedts told me diff. i have a 9 in that will be goin under it trying to keep it from bein slammed with the hot rod tilt
