Hey anyone. I had to just replace the door hinges on 94 F150 P/U. Super cab. I marked the originals so i would be close. I am still way off on the adjustments. any tips to make this job a little less a pain. Body work is out of my field. Thanks.
Aligning doors is right up there near the top of things I hate to do. On heavy doors I use a rooling jack, actually my transmission jack, to support the door so it won't drop when the bolts are somewhat loose. Take your time and don't let the door scrape the paint on the fender. Make a slight adjustment and check the fit.
Hey Mike, Thanks for the reply. I had to take the finders lose, and line up the doors for the best fit, then align the fenders. Lot of work, but i guess the truck had been hit before, and with bad hinges replaced, it was the only way. Thanks.
