Who's all going?

I might have access to a condo in Breckenridge but I need to know how many to plan on. Also keep in mind (just so there is no suprise) there are essentially 3 bedrooms but many beds if they havent changed things around. Let me know who is considering going so we can look at options.

I'm in for sure. Along with my two boys. You slipped up and let us go the last couple years. You're pretty much stuck with us now! At least until Chad gets tired of hauling us around with him.

(or you get your own rig ha ha ha)

I'm in. Looks like we are leaving sat the 13th of August. Returning the following Sunday. The condo in Breckenridge we where thinking of renting until tue-wed- then moving camp to St Elmo area.

Redcone- Holy cross - the first half, tin cup and others the second half.

The last weekend Friday night and Saturday afternoon is Troy and I's family reunion so we will attend a few events then. But will still be at the campsite.

Jack is thinking of camping around Buena vista the whole time or maybe someplace at a slightly lower altitude.

Not sure I'm gonna even go. And if I do I most lilely will stay in a town lower than 8000 ft in a roomin house. This is such a big maybe fore me that I would not plan on me being there. I will have a very long trip in the fall to Utah, Arizona, and Nevada.

really really really looking forward to this. I am taking both girls this year! At least that is the plan.
Maddie will be going on her 4th year, Belle will be starting to go with me as it will be the same age as when Maddie started. Its their last Hoorah before going to school for the year.

Okay, this really bites. So we all know I finally got a truck - the main idea of which is to have something to take on the annual Colorado run - and the very first year I hit scheduling conflicts.

We attended the kindergarten roundup for my youngest son this evening. Found out that school starts back up on Friday, August 20th this year (by the way Chad, August 13th is a Friday). School enrollment is sometime the previous week. We may be okay with enrollment, but we (the boys and I) really should be back in KS around the 18th. Which means that we'll miss camping near St. Elmo and the family reunion in Buena Vista that weekend.

T Roy ya got the dates messed up.. we leave on the 6th, and theoretically come back the 15th.. its all good! make sure you request off work for the right date.

I verified Flip and I's vacation in the calendar, and they are set and correct. (he just put down the wrong dates up above)

I will tell you the story about why we are leaving the 6th....(Friday)
its because normally we leave on Sat, and normally Flip tows Elvis out with a truck that has a big ol powerful motor. This year I am not going to tow the EEp, and going to drive it out, pulling a trailer (with a little 6 cyl) at the back breaking speed of 65mph tops. So I was going to leave a day early so I would have plenty of time to get there. But Flip is going to drive out now, we decided to travel together.

Ooops miss-typed the dates- SO it looks like St Elmo and Family thingy is a go!! (Dad decided not to go white water rafting- at least not this year) Remind me Sunday to bring the idea up with mom n dad - I think she got a package of sorts!

Anyone else thinking of going?

No go for us, not going to be able to financially wing it this year. Plus my job will be shipping me out to Vegas for Autodesk training later in the year so Jamie will use up all of her vacation for the year on that week.

Good deal! And it's an even better deal that my kids were asleep during my little outburst last night when I first checked the calendar.

Assuming their mom will handle school enrollment for us, we should be good to go.

Okay - by "good deal" I was talking about the schedule that may actually work for me - not that 82'Stepside can't go. Rookie posting error.

Well unless the latter part of the summer we start only working 4 days a week i won't be able to make the CO trip due to not having enough vacation days i only have 4 days and i might be down to 3 if we are still working 5 days a week in June and they do inventory then i'll have to use a day.
