its easy just gently pry the radio bezel off and remove the top tray unscrew the radio bolts gently unplug air bag sensor and you can get to the wires
I used a second cig lighter socket and spliced it to the one in the truck.that way I did not cut the cord from the gps power cord and I can remove it in tact in 5 minutes and saved buying new cord.as it is in truck 100% of the time.
