ICP Question
I noticed this weekend while changing my fuel filter that the connector on my ICP is soaked with oil. I have read that this is a bad thing and means it's on it's way out. I have not noticed any drive ability issues what are the symptoms of this sensor going/ gone bad. I don't want to change a $130 sensor just for fun though I may get one to throw in the glove box just in case these type things have a tendency to happen on Sunday afternoon when everything is closed.

Before replacing the ICP sensor you need to determine if the oil is leaking through the sensor or if the leak is due to a bad o-ring.
If you buy and ICP sensor "just to throw in the glove box" you might as well throw it on the truck and keep the old one as a spare.

What I am seeing is the electrical connection saturated in oil. Not sure what is under the connector but I think that the O-ring you are referring to is the one where the sensor screws into the head which is dry.
