Shift handle.

I noticed the other day when I got into my 350 and went to put it in drive I have to pull the lever past the "D" to get it into drive. This just started happening. Haven't had time to look into it. Having the day off is looking good if it's just something in the column.

No shifting trouble one's it's in drive or any other gear.

Probably no sense in adjusting it as long as it's still starting OK, unless it just bugs you.

Mine has never aligned correctly with the PRND321. It's not so far off as to be on the next position, but just sort of in between. I was also wondering if there was an easy adjustment.

I was under the impression the mechanism may need to be replaced. The reason it bugs me is that it just started happening. The truck is 10 years old so I know stuff like this will happen. If there is a way to adjust I would not have a problem doing so.

Got up under the dash and found a way to adjust the needle the hovers over PRND123.

It look exactly like the adjuster on the old dirt bike clutch's. A small wheel you turn and it feeds the screw in or out depending on which way you need to go.
