fuel reg problems
I've got a 88 bronco about 5 years ago I put a motorsport 5.0 h.o. crate motor in w/ world product heads,mass air conversion, msd ignition, headers, etc.. etc. A year ago I put a motorsport cam(.498 lift street ) in and ever since then it has surged at idle w/ a very rich smell to the exaust. At wide open throttle or cruising speed the truck runs great. I've checked numerous suspect areas, but I am leaning towards low vac at idle which makes fuel pressure rise to about60 psi. Has anyone experienced this problem or similar. Should I be leaning towards a vac pump or vac storage canister, an adjustable fuel reg, or a totally different cam. Thanks in advanced for any help
