95 7.3 PSD trans problem
Towing my trailer friday night went to pull up a hill Trans wouldnt shift into high gear ( OD ) was running 2200 rpm at 80 ks. Stop at a gas station trans fluid leaking under truck check all the line their ok cant tell where the leak is. Add 1 litre of trans oil drive 30 ks to check again still leaking same RPM to speed should run 1500 at 95 ks ( OD ) Add 2 litre more this time trans works good I have ( OD ) Get to my cottage park over night check the neaxt day no leaks. Drive 150 ks home works fine again no leaks. Not sure what was going on any ideas ??

truck now has a good rust proofing from the trans to back axle.Replace your pump seal, sounds like it got hot pulling up a hill and stated leaking from there, its a common problem, I had to do mine when my truck got hot and installed an updated one too. I think the seal and bushing came out to 35$ if I recall, its pulling the trany to get to it that sucks.
