Exhaust

I have a 1998 F-150 extended cab. I am planning on putting a flowmaster that I already bought. It is single in single out 2.5" offset center 50 series Suv. I want to make it dump out in front of the rear axle like the 1997 with a 2.5 to 3.5 stainless steel tip. Does anyone no any problems or have any suggestion with doing this?

The reason they stopped dumping the exhaust in front of the wheel it the exhaust tends to discolor any plastic on the wheel (center cap). I believe there was even a TSB on this.
