Question for the EMTs here
Well after letting my EMT certification expire a few years back I went and retested and am an EMT again. I want to continue my training to become a medic (EMT-P)
My question is this: what sort of stethoscope do you prefer and why. I am not going to invest in a cardiology stethoscope. Want something durable. I lost or misplaced my old stethoscope. I think it was a Littman classic.
Also do you carry a person jump kits. If so what do you include in your kit.

A little old, but I'll answer.
for a steth I use an Ultrascope. Great piece of kit, and it hasn't let me down working MVCs or the back of the bus.
As for a personal jump kit, not for use on other people. It's a carry over from when I had the Jeep, plus the fact I like shooting. It's a combo survival kit and first aid kit for me to use on myself if ever needed
